WEBARE ONLINE SCAMS, AND FRAUDS
Believe it or not but it is a bad-bad virtual world out there, where real bad-guys, for there benefit, setup a virtual trap for unsuspecting internet user(who want to get rich overnight). This fraud has many forms, for example, “E-mail Lottery”, Pay-Per-Click Fraud, Online Survey Websites Fraud, Earn By Reading E-mails Fraud, Data Entry Websites Frauds etc to name a few. Following is a brief summary of common frauds today:
1. PAY-PER-CLICK, PAID-TO-CLICK, AFFILIATE PROGRAM WEBSITES FRAUD: This is perhaps the most common type of fraud on internet today. In it, a website provide you “Affiliate membership” and offer you to give 0.1 to (hold your breath) 500 Dollars for clicking an advertiser’s link. When you click on AD links they update your “Account Balance” virtually, but the twist is that there is a minimum Account Balance Value (The Payout-that is set pretty high, say for example $ 80000 to 200000) that must be reached before you can claim your “Earned money”. They also offer membership upgrade like Silver, Gold, Diamond etc by paying some money. By opting these memberships they minimize or remove the minimum payout value. An unsuspecting and very enthusiastic member spend his time and money to click on Ads to acheive the payout value as soon as possible. What really happens, when you click the AD they earn money and not you, i.e. they get there work done, by you. Once he reach the payout value, he claims his “Account Balance” but unfortunately nothing happens, no reply to e-mails, ‘Contact Us’ messages whatever. Helpless, dismayed and deceived, can not do anything situation. Some people even send money to upgrade membership but it does not help either. Come on guys, just think who on earth will give you 300 dollars for reading just an e-mail AD or filling up a false silly “survey”, they simply can do it themselves if this much money would have been at stake. Following are some such websites that are proven to be fraud. Visit them just to see how candidly they lure and deceit peoples:
www.inspiremarrow.com, www.bux.to, www.adbux.com, www.gowellup.com etc.
2. E-MAIL LOTTERY (JACKPOT) FRAUD: In this, the target (Who can be anyone) receive an e-mail stating that you have won an online lottery of millions or a beachside mansion etc etc, through a random pickup of your e-mail ID, you are given a ticket no. and instructed to contact the specified person or send your details to specified mail ID for “Verification”. After this you are asked to send some money as a “Processing Charge” to the given account no. or address. If, God forbid, someone send them the money then nothing happens further and you are made a fool. The typical example of e-mail lottery fraud is explained with the real screenshot given below ( My friend received this mail).www.inspiremarrow.com, www.bux.to, www.adbux.com, www.gowellup.com etc.
